We are very happy to be able to welcome you back to d&g and cannot wait to serve you!
There are a few things we’ve had to change in the way we usually do things in order to keep both you and our staff safe from any potential risks, so we’d like to outline them for you here.
Booking

From 19th July we are very happy to welcome you in groups of any size both in the dining room and on the terrace (although still subject to the size of the restaurant)
Arrival

Although no longer mandatory, we invite you to wear a mask to enter the restaurant (including outside tables) and when not seated at your table.

Every booking will have a unique arrival time in order to reduce contact with other customers, so please try to arrive as close to your booked time as you can.

Please wait at the sign for us to come and meet you. This way we can ensure that your table is sanitised and ready for you, and limit movement around the restaurant.

Please use the hand sanitiser provided before entering the restaurant. to register their details using either the NHS Covid-19 app or providing us with a name and

It is no longer a legal requirements to record your contact details, however the QR code will be available for your to assist the NHS test and trace app.
Ordering & Service

We will use laminated menus that will be sanitised between every use.

A staff member will take your order at the table to make sure that we can still provide the same level of personal service that we always have done.

Your food and drinks will be brought to you on a tray and we’ll invite you to take your own dish in order to reduce extra handling.
Payment

Your bill will be brought to you at the table and we’ll take your payment there too.

We would prefer not to accept cash and contactless payments are encouraged where possible please.
Toilets

Please do not queue in the corridor to use the toilet.

Please use the hand sanitiser at the top of the corridor to use before you enter.

The toilet will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.
